         I don't think "restoring" is what he is doing,disbelief

         if he wants used 44 year old parts from the "wreckers"   

 

        I think "fixing up" or patching it up" is closer

Any 68-72 GM "A" body interior will fit it but the 68 Chevelle interior is specific to that year only. The bench seat and buckets did not have headrests in 1968 on Chevelle models (optional but not standard equiped). Finding any decent interiors will be a task. Finding good "cores" will be easy and then use NOS to get the proper covers. Just my opinion.
