Well got the car stripped down and all free ready to pull the body off once my friends flat deck with wench comes over. Thanks to everyone who bought parts , glad I could help and save it from being crushed! Got a few things for myself as well.
Thanks to my buddy Mike(70Humbler) for teaming up on this , had alot of fun stripping her!!

i'm not one to question another man's work .. but I have to say, i've brought worse back. Tho, yeah, sometimes you have to let the weaker ones go to keep the stronger ones running.

Just glad to be a part of a salvage teardown. I'm happy those parts will be brought back to life. We're meeting new friends and learning more and more about these cars. Thanks Kevin.

Mike.

'91 sonoma. I've got the pics somewhere online .. I'll look them out. More than one car guy told me I was wasting my time. Replacement cabs were and are still a dime a dozen .. but I wanted to practice the metal work on something that I could screw up without destroying a classic. Even tho floor pans were available, I made the replacements by hand out of old computer cases. Best decision I could have made .. learned tons. It ain't pretty ... but it's solid. Still have more to finish on the firewall, but I'm using that to teach the kids.

LOL... the car was so rotten that every time you touched it we had a pile of rust on the shop floor. The drivers side rear window was removed through the rear quarter / wheel well it was so rotten.

I seen this car in person. The body and body panels were in rough shape. Even the spare tire rim was rotten. It would have taken a mountain of money to bring her back to life.
