hello all   i am looking  for  a patch   panel  for my dash

there is rust  just by the base of the windshield

 

i ordered a repair panel at the base ( 2 inches wide ), but in order to weld  it  ,the remains of the dash  cover does have some rot .

 

i think  i saw before a patch panel that could be placed above the dash pad

i think they call it  a dash  top  (   for  a 1964 67   GTO   )    or Beaumont

 

cant  find  it  ,  does anybody  know  some suppliers that would  have this part

Check out "Performance Years" or "Ames Performance" they have all of them. they also have complete dashes.

my body shop cut stock steel in strips and welded in (my 69 Nova)   ground it off and it was mint

that would be the thing to do Carl , i looked at ames they did not have the dash cover
