68 Harness

I thought I saw a thread here a while back but can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a strong opinion either way on where to get a Harness for the 68.

Is there a company that will do the modifications for you?

I have read it is easier to get the GTO harness that will make the Dash work easier and modify the GM Engine wires. All postings greatley appreciated.

My friend put a "Painless" kit in his 67 Camaro we restored and he loved it and was real easy to follow and put in. Every wire is labled on each on what they are for the whole way along the wire.

I put a harness from M&H in my '68 GTO.

I used the 68 Chevelle SS engine compartment and forward harnesses from American Auto Wire for my car. It worked out great with only minor modifications because of my ignition system. I believe the 68 GTO harness would be what you need for the dash. I think you can call them and tell them exactly what you want and they will make the necessary modifications.
