69-72 disc brake tip

Thought I would pass along this great tip I found on the Perf years site.It was about replacing your stock front brake pads with ones from the 1995 Impala SS/police pads.

What an incredible difference in braking power. My 70 GTO has never had greater braking feel.I used Wagner "perfect stop" PS614M.The pads are approx 30% larger.I hope this tip can help.

Good to know indeed. Thanks. Maybe we could start a "Product Review" thread, where we could benefit from mistakes made by others and maybe get the scoop from those who are impressed with their aftermarket parts. I know I've taken a few shots in the dark and been disappionted. Even if they get no response, they will be found in future searches. I dont know about legality of bad mouthing a vendor, as it will likely happen. But, we all also deal with some great vendors who would appreciate the shout out. It would eventually be a great place to direct new members who want our opinions on where to get parts. I notice a lot of the same questions that I asked when I found my poncho. Thanks for the tip
