75 Firebird Formula 350-4spd. Originally Honduras Maroon but currently many colours. Interior is in great shape and the body is pretty decent overall needing minor rust repair and some cosmetic work prior to paint. It is currently registered as an antique and I have driven it for a few short moments a couple times this spring. Car is available with either the Honeycombs or the Rally II's.

 

THIS IS NOT A RUST BUCKET. The car has solid floors, rockers, doors etc with minimal rust in the quarters.

 

Interior is mostly original with a new carpet and a good headliner from another car. Currently there is a Pioneer DIN face head unit with Ipod, Auxilliary and Blue Tooth options and set of JVC 6x9's in the rear deck, sounds good to me but won't win any sound off competitions.

 

Please no dreamers, tire kickers or individuals that will need to go back to the wife for permission, or check with the bank. Either you're in or you're not.

 

Partial trades, maybe. I'm partial to 69 Pontiac full size, 30's Chevy coupes, GTOs and 69 Camaros and Firebirds.

I am not sure what Todd has in mind for his. That would help a bit. I am thinking he has close to 10K in mind?

You sure have a decent project car for an old F body. I have not had a lot to do with them other than one completely rotten numbers matching SD455 and that is not a fair comparison.

If I had to guess I would say the market for your's would not likely get too much past $3,000, sadly. It's a tough sell out there right now. However, it only takes one guy to want it.

I paid over 3 grand for a 66 Grande Parisienne and 99 out of 100 people would walk right by when it's for sale. Certainly a Firebird will have a lot more buyers.

In the late eighties I owned a '77 Firebird Esprit with the Skybird package and it was a fun car. I think you have a great project car here, I have to agree that $4,200 seem's a little high to me. I would have guessed $2,500-$3,000. It's not a Trans Am but I personally prefer the Formula and I like the fact it's a stick car. It's going to take a few buck's to get her back into shape but as noted the market seem's soft right now as well.

Well I took everyone's comments on advisement and dropped the price on Kijiji/UsedRegina to $3800 and will entertain offers over $3000 in cash in person.

As an aside I don't know if it will truly effect the price but there is a new front valance, better left front fender and a pair of 1/4 skins included.

One more kick at the can. Just to bump this up as I need to get this car a new owner. I got ""permission"" to acquire an another early 30's Chev coupe but this has to go first.

I think Todd would agree with me, the 70 to 75 Formula's have one of the nicest hoods out there.

Well I changed the honeycomb wheels to the rallys, stripped the paint on the rear 1/4's, repaired the rust and primed them. Put the car on Kijiji and it sold in just a day to a couple nice people. One more project gone. A little more cleaning up and I can re-focus.
