I have never seen a flex plate with a weight like that on it before, is that a custom mode of some sort?

Which way do I mount the flexplate? It's a one piece crank seal motor.

Weight towards the engine, or towards the trans? I realize that mounting it will tell the tail with the ring gear offset matching with the starter, but just thought I'd find out ahead of time.

Cheers, Mark
