yellow '67 Beaumont..

Hi there..I'm on a fishing trip here but...I lived in Brandon, Manitoba in 1982 and sold my yellow '67 Beaumont to a guy from Winnipeg, or south of Winnipeg...can't remember his name, have no pics of the car but I always wondered whatever happened to it..car was a Custom hardtop with all chrome removed..painted Corvette yellow with a 3 tone pin strip along upper body line..had a built small block with a 4 speed...car was originally an automatic with highback buckets installed..always loved that car and wondered what happened to it. If anyone has any info about this car I'd love to hear about it..thanks, Brent.

I keep a running list of all the beaumonts i find around manitoba

So far i have around 300 of them listed.  based on bodystyle, color,  where seen, condition, etc.

As for bright yellow, the only one i have that could be it was a 67 HT bright yellow.  I saw it at the Fountain tire on Lagimodiere blvd just south of Regent.   I remember it had aluminum wheels maybe centerlines or prostars.   Black interior i think.  I only saw it there for about a week back in 2004-05.   Never seen it again,  and i can barely even remember it, Glad i made my list!!!

There was also a plain "beaumont" convert that use to make the car show scene back in the early 90's.  But it was sold off on ebay back around 2000 or so out of province and possibly to the US.

I'm sure this isn't it but if you'd like to cruise down memory lane, the following link might help. (A Cdn Poncho members car, and also one of my favorites):

Hi Dave, there was a yellow 67 HT car running around a few years ago (probably the one you saw in 2005) that was for sale on kijiji, i never saw it in person, but it was all yellow and had black racing seats in it...

Too bad that plain convert left MB, sad to see it go...I saw that car drive by me when i was walking across Main st. the year before i painted my car, my jaw dropped and i walked onto the street to watch it pass by, almost got hit by other cars!!lol I was originally going to go orange, then i went to world of wheels and there was a tubbed 67 custom with a black top in orange!! so i changed my mind, can't have two of the same colour... the next year (1989) I painted mine yellow, the orange one was bought by Kenny Lang and came out with the vinyl top removed and all red with graphics... so there was never another orange one in winnipeg!

Thanks Geoff for the kind words about my car!! It's nice that the old girl can still turn some heads! :)

As far as the car being sought after... i don't remember it (but was 10 in '82)... maybe Brian ended up with the car? He has a great memory for all the cars he went through... like mine in '72!...maybe it was the all yellow one that dave and i remember...
