1951 inline 6, pulling the flywheel

is there a particular way this should be done. I'm trying to mount the engine on an engine stand and need the clutch plate/ fly wheel housing off to do this. I want to make sure however that I'm going the right way about this. I've pulled off the clutch pressure plat, the clutch plate and am going to tackle the flywheel today. hoping the this will give me the access to the bolts to remove the housing/ casing... anyone.
