1966 Beaumont Convertible. Lindsay Ontario

No disrespect, did you sell it far cheaper than it's for sale for now?I honestly don't know if thats high or not.It seems resonable,I bought my 66'Sport Deluxe Convertible for that price and they are considerably more desireable. My motor isn't matching #'s but I have date correct motor and trans.I think I did well on mine.If you could buy that car for 20K,I think it would be good.Unless it looks good from far,and is far from good.

its a fair price for a good car with a good history-what he paid for it is erelevant--what its worth (what a willing buyer will pay/what a willing seller will sell at) is what one should consider when purchasing

 ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz.........ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz......What was that?

I'm confused by the comment in the ad " driven by original owner only".

Looks like a nice driver! Was it clean underneath ken? floors/frame etc? ...Car values go up and down, and like many things you only need one buyer, sometimes you luck into the right one. Values change depending where you are in the country or even if you are closer to a major city vs a 2hr drive away in the countryside...
From the pictures and based on other 'sell' prices I think the asking price is just on high end, but I don't know the car... I think whoever buys it will be very happy with a car that will turn heads! ...and will also be miles further ahead than a rotted out $6k project convertible!

Anyone know what it would cost in a shop to replace rear quarters, trunk pan and floor boards? Any idea how many hours those jobs would require? I do not, that's why I'm asking. My instinct tells me "lots" but I really don't know. Maybe 80 hours for each quarter (assuming it's already stripped, all the way through to final primer? I know it'd be way more than that for me and it'd be a steep learning curve. I would think a solid 66 Beaumont ragtop would be worth the asking price but I know - it's worth what someone will pay.

There's a few guys on here that know the current prices... I'd guess around $15-20k for everything. This car may need that work in a year or two...who knows what's lurking under the paint, unless the current owner has pictures of the car in bare metal...

It didn't require replacement panels-there were previous repairs in the front of the front fenders, in the lower rear of the quarters and typical in the trunk--very decent not messed with local Ontario car
