1957 pontiac 283 chevy motor

I think I have a complete 283 canadian motor complete with new pistons, rings and bearings for it. The block and heads need to be rebuilt. Is there anyone out there that is interested in theses original Parts? I have the tin for the motor also with the pontiac valve covers. I also have the correct distributorand maybe the carb.

Thanks for your time,

Joe

I am amazed that no one is interested so far. I have a 261 inline six in mine that i plan on keeping that way or else i would be interested. Good luck with the sale and i hope it does end up in a Canadian 1957 Pontiac. Cheers. George.

The problem is shipping it.  How much are you looking to get?

Thanks, Steve.

I thought there might be someone out there that would be interested. I might just rebuild it and put it on a motor stand in the shop. I have 4 of the 57's and one has the 6 in it. If I ever run out of things to do might put it in it. We'll see ???

I'd like to get $500.00 for it. It is complete I even have a starter for it. I know the valve covers are rare. I'll be at the early ford swap meet in Spokane in July and there are always a bunch of guys from Canada there that might help someone out. If someone is really interested I can get all the numbers and parts in a list for you. If I remember correctly it has a new set of pistons, rings and bearings.

Thanks for your time,

Joe
