that is the correct shifter...youre looking for the hook shifter like a GTO probably...but..this is the right one, works for buckets, console and bench...

i'll post more pics when i get the carpet out, theres no carpet avil for this set up, acc said if i sent them mine they would make them for others and give me a new one....

is that the factory shifter location? the reason i ask is because i want to put a 4 speed in my 66 wagon and i was looking for a special shifter to clear the bench seat but it looks like there's alot of room for a non specific shifter.

Here is what a Correct 66 CDN pontiac bench seat 4 speed set up would look like.

Marxjunk car is a US car and much different from the CDN cars.

The 4 speed floor hump is reproduced in steel.

oh ok so i do need the floor hump and boot for my wagon. i have a 3 speed manual in it now and want to change to 4 speed floor shift. i have an m20 right now i'm not sure the dimensions are the same as the 3 speed or not but i'm currently looking for factory buckets to replace the bench seat to hopefully make my shifter options a little a little easier to find.

i dont know about Canadian cars, but US cars have long tailshafts, like a long tailshaft 400 turbo in big cars...if your 3 speed trans has a tailshaft thats a foot long..you ned a long tailshaft 4 speed...like i said, i dont know enough about canadian cars to know..heck, this is my first big car ive ever wanted to keep..
