1969 Beaumont Restoration Progress

Well im starting to get really close to getting her on the road finally, if I finish before the end of July it will have taken me 3 years to do the frameoff restoration. The Vinyl top is done and I had a buddy that owns a glass shop come and remove the rear window from my parts car ( Soft ray Tint } and reinstall it in the resto. The carpets are in and the interior is done, now its a couple hours of wiring and a half a page of little odd and sods. Ive ordered the Magna Flow Stainless Steel muffler system and will get it installed around the 15th. I hope I dont get stopped on the way to the muffler shop. I still have to save up for the Crager SS rims and BF Goodrich tires and shes ready for the road. I Took a calculated risk and took her out for a quick spin today, wide open headers and all, hey its Canada Day !! everyone else is making noise LOL !!! The car is nice and tight and the Tremec 5 spd is awesome. Wont get a chance to show it much this year but next year I plan on going to as many shows as I can.

The Colour is 2010 Camaro Synergy Green, it was a factory Camaro colour for one year only. I could not decide what colour to paint the car and I saw a camaro go past me with the eye popping green and I headed straight to the dealership and lo and behold they had one on the lot. I loved the look of the paint and i thought the Black Vinyl top would really make it pop. I dont think the salesman was very impressed that all I wanted was the paint code on the new Camaro. The paint looked fairly dull with 3 coats but as soon as I put the first coat of clearcoat on it brightened right up.
