Yep, sounds like Joe.
He went cross Canada last year ( or was it the year before ) in a 66 Grande Parisienne 396 - it had been extremely low mileage.

Judging by the plates, he's had it for a long time.

If you mean Joe Taylor, I think it's actually a Custom Sport that he put a GP tail panel into. Looks real cool with it on there.

He's on here from time to time, gtojoebigcar or something like that?

That's right - two years ago at least. He was driving a red 66 CS with a GP tailight panel when he was here in St. John's.

Interesting how the 68 Parisienne's have vent windows, but he 68 Grande Parisienne's don't.   Kind of like how the 68 Impala's have vent windows, but the 68 Caprice's don't.

The dash in the '67's and '68's are near identical with the exception of the cig lighter and ignition cylinder swapped places, the '68's have extra padding on the dash and the adjustment stem for clock adjustment was in the center for '67 and went to the drivers corner of the clock in '68...

Many '68's G/P's being posted lately... I am off to Regina Sunday to pick up a 2-dr h/t, 396 with A/C......

The A/C controls look like the radio... left knob for speed, right for temp and the buttons for modes.........This is a '67.. And I see the '68 has 5 push buttons...

 Carl, look familiar?

THE GP AND THE CAPRICE HAD ASTRO VENTILATION IN '68 SO THEY DID AWAY WITH THE VENT WINDOWS. MY GP HAS "ASTRO VENTILATION" SCRIPTS (STAMPED) ON THE DOOR GLASS. KINDA COOL.

I have never seen a car with two radios, is that factory?  Is the ignition switch in between them.  That seems a pretty good reach for the driver.

Those controls that look like a radio are actually HVAC controls.

Common question on 60's Pontiacs. I heard it all the time when I was driving 66's.

One of those is actually a heater/AC control.

I'm thinking that one likely has a lot of my fingerprints on it?

If so, it worked well across Montana in the summer of 1981 on a week long auto wrecking trip!
