1968 CHEVELLE SS396. Real 138 car. Have GM vintage documentation. Numbers matching L34 / 350HP 396 engine, rebuilt with approximately 5000 miles. Buckets, center console, very rare power four piston Disc Brakes. Car was originally M20 four speed but is now 400 Turbo automatic. Good frame floor pans and trunk. Car needs restored. Asking $13000.00. Car is in Saint John NB
guy at work had the same car with factory 4 speed, rebuilt 396 new rubber and maggs. He got sick of the gas mileage and traded it in on a new 1976 Honda Civic. They gave him $300 for trade off the list price of the Honda
Alternator is on the wrong side!!! Makes me question the originality of the engine. Why would some one switch from short water pump to long water pump unless it was changed.Do the 4 spd pedals and M20 come with the sale??? Hope it has a 12 bolt. I do like the '68's though.Very hard to find parts for as it was GM's one year only thing whether it be Nova/Acadian,Chevelle/Beaumont.From dash pads to door panels to steering columns to brakes.Very odd year.Good thing though-sheetmetal is all available.Worth restoring or just driving.
