Need windshields for my 52 Fleetleader Deluxe badly

So, last week my hood decided to open doing 120 passing some minivan on the way to Regina, and so now I'm looking for a set of windshields and weatherstripping for my 52 Fleetleader Deluxe   The hood and center trim are toast, and the tops of the fenders got damaged. but I'll deal with that outside of insurance.  Does anyone know where I can find such a thing in the Winnipeg area?  Anywhere in Canada would be alright as well.  Really want to get her back on the road....It's cruisin time ya know..

Is Chevy the same? If so I'm sure they are available.

A couple of years ago I got a price on those pieces from Vanfax in Winnipeg. They could get them but didn't have them on the shelf. Are they one of the places you called?

Too bad that car isn't closer to me, it has some front trim pieces I wouldn't mind grabbing. Sorry to hear about your hood blowing up, I use chevsofthe40s.com , It would still be a 4-5 business day delivery and they use UPS. I need another driver side windshield as I cracked mine when I over tightened the center trim after putting my visor back on just after I replaced the windshields and weatherstripping.

The center trim wouldn't be a problem...i have a spare. The side glass is easy to get around here since it's flat My buddy in Steinbach gets all his flat glass cut there and he say's it's really reasonable. I'm going to call about that car later today, and if I can make a deal on the whole car, it will be closer to Winnipeg. I'll let you know. What trim pieces are u looking for?

Ooops had to edit my last reply, i cracked my driverside windshield over tightening the center windshield trim, That would be great if the car came closer to winnipeg, I might be interested in the front hood lip, pass side curved fender trim, the whole bottom of the grille and maybe the pass center side of the grille and a couple grille teeth. Some of my pieces could be repaired but i wouldnt mind a better overall bottom part of the grille. That car doesn't seem to be all that bad if someone wanted to restore the whole thing but parting it out could also help a few of us out too.

Sorry B-52, but the cars staying where it is...He wants a mint for it and isn't willing to part it out. He wants $1700 for it...A little much for a parts car...he said he may consider a trade, but I've got nothing left to trade. Just traded my 57 Chevy for a 49 Chevy panel truck. I know where a 51 Poncho is and he is willing to part it out...the hood lip is different though.

wow,$1700 well it does look in decent shape in the pic and would be a good project for someone. at that price i feel better for what i paid for mine lol and it only took 500 to get a real safety done to it.
