That is pretty far from Scarborough ON. To think, City is a well know Cadillac dealer and to think this low buck low end car was sold there. It sure would have been out of place beside the Eldorados and Coupe Devilles.
Cool car. City Buick was the dealership that I bought a 65 Parisienne 327, 67 396 4sp Beaumount, 68 400 4sp Firebird. Randy Heise was the sales Manager and whatever I orderd he got. Great dealership. Brian

Three Cadillacs and GMC for me. I won't name drop but I serve on a couple of committees and boards with the "former" owner now an Federal MP.
I learned to drive on a '73 hatchback. I don't recall my Dad ever spending any money on that car during the six years my Mom drove it.
Ww had two of these a 73 GT which was written off then a 74. It was a good second car to the family. I ran that car up the 400 and Hwy#69 to Parrysound every weekend in the summer. My passing technique through the rock cuts of Muskoka was similar to a NASCAR slingsgot, I'd run up on the car to pass drop it into second and floor it and sling shot past. Of course you had to know the road and where to pass but I survived. That 74 served us until a '77 Camaro LT became the second car for the family. It was a 305 car but it was loaded and I liked it.

I learned to drive on a '73 hatchback. I don't recall my Dad ever spending any money on that car during the six years my Mom drove it. It was alway's reliable and started in any weather. If this one was closer I'd probably buy it just cuz.....
i believe that car is the same one that a guy doing removals in underground parking (abandoned cars) was going to bring me for parts. there was some bs with the cops or something,(building owner wanted the cars gone cops wouldent clear the cars for removal) so i lost out. oh well!
