yup this thing is pure cop business , and i can confirm seeing 2 door police cars in the 60 s .............in movies that is , i was less than a tyke in the mid sixties

love that rubber mat  and  the old  motorola  in there .  11 to  1  solid lifter 348   , hmmmm   havent seen  many  of those    in the past !

When I was just a little tyke I recall the Town of Morris cop using a black 59 or 60 Chevy post identical to this one.

That '59 is deadly, W-Power and a 3-Tree!

back in 1966 my dad was a cop in richmond hill ont and there were 3 cop cars for the town two 4dr biscaynes and a 2dr biscayne detective car (dark green), which got stolen
and it took 3 weeks to find it . it was parked in thornhill ont at a new strip plaza at yonge st (hwy 11) and royal orchard blvd . spring 1966.
