Door Panels

Hi Guys,

i´m restoring my 58 Pathfinder right now.

Welding is done. She will be painted soon.

Now i´m searching for new doorpanels, because the old one ar non original and wrapped.

Any Idea where to find it? Is it the same panel like from a US Chieftain or Starchief ?

Oh, i forget: need window channels and door seals too.

THX

I can tell you where to get the door seals: you can get those from NOS Reproductions, they sell a universal kit.

Sorry I can't help you out with the panels and channels. I would say window channels should interchange with American Pontiacs.

Try these guys, they may be able to help.

Do you have your old door panels still? Can you post a pic of what they look like ? I might be able to help you out in Canada.

that would be great !

Yes, i still have the old panels, but they are wrapped and the upholstery was selfmade from the previous owner, back in the 80`s,

so they are not original.

I`ll sent you a Pic via e-mail how the panels should look.

THX

Hi Patty 58, I got your email of the door panel, I will have to check with my sewing specialist after this long weekend as he is already on vacation. I will see what he says, I know we could do it alot cheaper if we had the factory old panels as a template. If you you could even track down factory panels, we could take them and change them to any colors you would like. We have around a 1000 colors/textures to choose from so if you have a color sample I'm sure we can match what you are wanting. Where are you located? I could even try to include shipping costs into the price.

I would "almost" bet $$$ on it, But I'm sure they are going to be the same a 58 Chevy pattern size, material may be different. I doubt the US doors are the same size, as well as everything else, that won't cross over from the US Poncho's
