I had to punch a rooster out once, knock it out cold, so I could pick it up and move it to another coop.

I thought I had killed our rooster this morning. He attacked me as I was bending over to get the eggs. By reflex, I hit him with the plastic feed scoop, and we went flying, and then couldn't get up. I felt pretty bad and got him revived, but it looks like he lost his last spur in the encounter. He's up and about, but not as ****y!
