Nice! Just a few small parts added here & there and I would drive it as is! The colours (inside & outside) and patina remind me of another car that I know. wink

Like people say on the TV. They're still out there........ Keep looking.......... Lots of money for an L79 that needs a restoration. IMO

Had one back in the day, bought new from James Chevrolet in Windsor Ontario. Marina Blue, bench seat, radio delete, dog dish caps. That baby could flat out GO.

Imagine buying this car new... driving the poop out of it for 50 summers... letting it degrade to it's current state... then selling it for 30,000 dollars.
As they say on BJ... "well bought!"

it doesn't appear to have had the 'poop' driven out of it-its 46 summers old and in incredible survivor condition-rare car-that was quite expensive new

I agree on that outside color, patina and driving it the way it is.

If I had purchased it 50 years ago, and only driven it in the summers, I can pretty much gaurantee I would have driven the poop out of it.  And if I had, and it had never been winter driven, nor restored (judjing by the condition of my 66), I think it would pretty much be in the condition this one is.  Therefore, I can "imagine buying this car new..."  Again, I say "well bought!"

Why put anything ($) into it, just do running repairs and enjoy it... I'd sooner keep it the way it is, rebuild the mechanicals, if/when they need it...smile
