I had one. 1965 Chevelle SS hard top L79.Wish I still had it. This rag top WILL be worth large money restored.

I think there were over 6,000 L79 Chevelles made in 65.

Pull the motor out,put it on a stand and clone a Z16.Only one was built.Thats what I would do being a real 4 spd car..IMO.Sorry guys.....

i would  keep  it  orig    , even   if there was 6000   made   , i  just   love  those   , but  even more in a Nova .

 201 Z16s made, 'reportedly' 1 convertible, not known to survive......

It's probably hiding in the deep South in a barn/shed and forgotten about.It was the 60th Z16 built Black/Black w/red interior-Vin#13867K173755.The rarest of the rarest no doubt.All were 4 spd cars as well built on the stiffer convertible frames.Engine suffix code is "IX".

Yes-strange but very true and very odd being 375hp 4 spd cars.But if that's the only downfall,I'd still be very happy to own one-ragtop or not.
