Repair invoice from 1967

My Dad emailed me this copy of a 1967 repair invoice and I thought some here might get a kick out of it even if it's not a Pontiac. The vehicle he had repaired was a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe and the repair was a valve job on it's flathead 6. The invoice is for the complete job, parts, tax and labour. Can anyone enlarge the picture for me please.

Randy, I should see what exists currently at 9 Kirkwood Drive in Ch'town. I doubt there is a "Farm Tractor" repair shop within 2 hours of Ch'town now, and that was just in '67. Cool stuff! 12 bucks labour and 34 cents taxbiggrin

if you had that kind of work done on your new car, i think it would be about 2500 nowadays.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

Hey Darryl:

I expect to be on PEI approx. Sept 22 so I'll drive by also. Horace Cameron was a great mechanic who did excellent work.

I still remember driving the car to his shop way back in 1967.  

I'll try and get in touch with you this time too, perhaps we can go for coffee/lunch etc.

If techs charge those prices still today I wouldnt lift a wrench on my car.....amazing huh....thanks for posting
