The car is a mess but seeing beyond the present condition I thinlk it looks pretty good. That's an iconic Pontriac nose, no mistake what type of car it is.
I would have tried to fill/smooth that nose-job a bit better.
It looks better straight on.

I agree! My first reaction was... wtf? Then the more I looked at it the more I liked it! If I win big on the lottery in the next little while I'll buy that and finish it...
CUT, BEND, WELD. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THE NOSE HAD BEEN HIT, BUT AS I LOOK AT IT, IT SEEMS INTENTIONAL. MOST LIKELY TO GET THE LINES MATCHED UP BETTER. VERY CREATIVE AND DIFFERENT TO BE SURE.
