I am wondering if he is now saying it's not a factory 4 speed, or that at some point it was an automatic. I'm a bit confused. The appeal for that car to me was if it was actually a 4 speed car. Maybe he has documents now stating it's not???

Well I weakened when I went and saw it today and put a deposit on it. Will pick it up a little later. If someone else is serious on it I may just pass it along otherwise I sort of know what direction I am headed with it. Am going to send away for documentation next week. It will be like my 64 white with red interior. He happened to have one he was delivering in the yard and it was the exact colors I wanted. Anyhow mostly bought it because I thought it was good value for what has been done.
It was funny they actually had it advertised on Calgary Kijiji for $3200 and that was the ad that got me motivated. That is what I paid for it but there are a couple things I might buy from him like new carpet.
Now, don't post up pictures and info on it or I may cave in and send YOU a deposit!!!
And I happen to know someone else who may do the same.
And PLEASE don't post up the documents here if it happens to come back as a factory 4 speed car.....
Oh Carl, you are a strong guy so a few pictures and some documents won't hurt you. I am 99 per cent sure it is an automatic but I am going to start looking for a 4 or 5 speed.

Yeah Tim from what I have seen he is mostly a bodyguy. He has a few cars at his place and is about three quarters done building a new house so was looking for cash to continue. From my amateur eyes he seems pretty fussy so will see when I bring her home.
