Fuel pump


Hi this is 261 Iwas wondering If someone could help me out I purchased a 1958 261 engine and trans. The fuel pump has 2fittings on the bottom and 2 fittings 0n the top. Are the ones on the bottom vacume lines if they are can some one tell me where they go Ithink the ones on top are for fuel . It is a different set up than my 1956 261 .Thanks Gerry

You may have purchased an optional fuel pump with the vacuum fittings for additional vacuum for the windshield wiper motor.

Thanks for the reply Al the transmission is an automatic cast iron 2 speed powerglide.It has a modulater valve on the side Icould be mistaken  but maybe one of the lines go there also. When we took the engine out the 2 vacume lines where gone.maybe someone can get me more info on this item. by the way how are are things in Timmins. My wife and I are going on a little tour In a few weeks with my 56 laurentian thru timmins and surrounding areas. thanks again  Gerry
