Todd, pretty sure it wasn't... I snagged the tag on this one a few years back... As well as a '66 Grande that resided next to it... But I had no interest in it because I didn't have my 2+2 Rag then... But now, I may have to take a second peek... The Rag I have is rotted really bad in the rockers....... and everywhere else....
Just sent an e-mail asking if he had proof of it's originality....

big block cars (and a/c cars) had a 1/4" return line from the GF432 filter that sat by the carb. 6 cyl cars had a 5/16" fuel line, V8 cars had a 3/8" fuel line, and if it has the 1/4" return line it's right beside the main line making it's way back to the tank. Big block single exhaust cars also had the exhaust outlet on the passenger side, whereas 350 & 400 cars were on the drivers side. You may still see some evidence of where the exhause line was originally.

My '69 had a return line in it, which I opted to remove when I replaced the main gas line. What was the purpose of the return line? I always thought return lines were for cars with AC. I guess I was wrong on that. Just curious. I haven't noticed any issues not having one installed.

I think it had to do with fuel pressure output of the pump vs what the carb could handle. The GF432 filter allowed excess fuel to go back to the tank.
Also on 70 big block B-bodies, the wire from the coil to the starter had braiding on it for heat protection.
the documentation just says "221 of all full size Pontiac models with LS4", doesn't mention LS5's, but it can't be very many. So, your guess on how that's carved up is as good as mine.
I know there were a number of 454 Strato-Chief police cars, word on the street was 4 x 454 2+2 convertibles (but that may be up to 5), and 40 2+2 hardtops. My guess is maybe 10 Parisienne convertibles, but that is only a guess. There was a red LS5 Parisienne convertible in Calgary, it relocated to Lethbridge and sold again about 5 years ago.
On the big block cars, the purple wire to the stater has a braid covered piece spliced in about a foot before the starter. Again, I presume for heat protection.
The first thing I will look for is the 2 line fuel system! I will take a more than a few snaps.... From the looks of the water/dirt line on the right front wheel, there is probably not much left underneath it..... Plus, he lifted it off the ground, how I wonder??
