It's not a 1940 !!! 49 or 50 by tail lights & seamed 1/4 panels. 1st yr.for "new" body style. Pretty rotten car in the tail end,would imagine the floors are 'toast' too!!!! Parts car if you were doing a better one?? $800 would be tops for me!!!

That can not be the "original" miles on that car, add at least a 1 on that. Mine has 87000miles on it and is in way better shape. For sure a 49-50 car, it does have the clock and signals as options . I do like the car anyways, the dash is pretty mint.

I have the same signal system in my car.look at the bottom picture of the body at the Right side curve on the door, looks like a ton of bondo. I'm so happy mine was never a "city car" so it never saw the salt and crap from the roads.seeing this car for sale makes me love my car even more.

Gotta remember this is a "southern" car, Southern Ontario that is, & the salt rot is HUMUGOUS here!!! Does have a MINT dash, signals are aftermarket!! Stupid me just noticed thats it's a Torpedo back [more door] hard to see from angle or straight on from the back. Lots of trim 'goodies' on there.
