65-66 B body tilt column signal switch adapter harness

Ken and I were talking about him installing a tilt in his 66 Grande Parisienne. Just thought rather than tell him in a PM, why not post this info up here for anyone who isn't aware of it.

If you plan to put an original tilt in your 65-66 B body Pontiac, you will need this. It is available repro if you don't get it when you buy your tilt column. (By the way, I am pretty sure 63-64 also use a harness that looks like this and may even be identical)

Good, then it's a bolt in.

I have talked to many people who were stumped when trying to install the tilt, because that harness was missing.

I made the same mistake the first time I ever pulled a tilt in a wrecking yard when I was likely in my teens. Best way to learn...

Ididit tilts include that harness with their tilts as a package.
