WOW, that's a clean car, are those based on Caddy's Eldo of the year?

Brake stands don't count, even Fords can do that. Anyway I am sure it is a pleasure to drive, it wasn't built as a dragracer but nice to have the power there. It is a fine example of that era of Parisienne. I'd drive it.

You just don't find cars like that anymore. There was a time when they were cheap and treated like heavy duty beaters, ultimately ruling at the smashup derby before getting the engine & transmission yanked. It is nice to see one survive intact, especially with 455 power. The colour is nice as well. A set of repro dual-stripe whitewalls would look great on that car. I wonder, can anyone see if the car has Power Beam or T-3 headlights on it?

Astro Ventilation. They made a running change in 1971 where they reduced the number of louvers, but they were deemed redundant alltogether for 1972 and were eliminated. The vent in the doorjamb was deemed sufficient.

I doubt that beast could even chirp the tires. Might do 115 mph tops. 0-60 maybe 11 seconds on a cool damp day.

Does anyone have a brochure for the 71? It'd be interesting to see what other wheels/wheel covers were available.
