FWIW, Brooklin models aren't really "toy" cars... they are pre-built scale models (think collectors' items), usually of more obscure subject matter (i.e. not '57 Chevies, Mustangs, etc.). They are not cheap to buy new.
Though technically I suppose they are toys, a person probably wouldn't buy one for their kids to run into the refrigerator or down the stairs unless they were quite well off.
My buddy used to have a bunch of these Brooklins. Very expensive and about 5lbs each....
