Just joined after the recent purchase of a 68 Beaumont. Car looks pretty much stock but has several upgrades including:

468 Cu in. balanced and blueprinted.

Rollerized valvetrain

Aluminum heads/intake/waterpump

Holley 850

200-4R auto with overdrive

Auburn 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears

4 core rad

full poly bushings with upgraded sway bars/shocks

 

Have used the forum to track down a few bits and pieces to complete the car so far and the members have been incredibly friendly and helpful. Hope to meet some of you in the near future.

Yeah the car is an absolute beast. Apparently the current motor was installed after the previous 800hp engine was yanked out to go into a 67 chevelle. Car was built to handle close to 1000 hp. I am trying to return it to mostly stock appearance until you open the hood! Best part is it is over 500 hp and with the rear end and overdrive, it gets decent mileage on 2 barrels...Ha ha.
