Im offering this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air wagon with great original patina. Vehicle is mostly original , has new fuel tank and lines, original WW tires with 75% tread.original 55 wheels and wheeldiscs.Driveline is 350 chevy small block with Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4 bbl carb and th 350 transmission .  vehcle runs excellant.This wagon is a real head turner, great potential for restoration or better yet drive as it is..At shows this wagon will get more attention than the fully restored car beside it.Price is 14,750.. Odometer shows 39,000 miles. This wagon has never been abused or tampered with other than engine / tranny, which makes it a nice cruiser... I'd say it was "Coral" in colour!!! Your right on Carl you'd be buried in it, cost wise at asking price then doing a light resto!! Paint would likely be in the 3500 to 5000 thou range. Looks good & solid in pictures, have to see it in the TIN

 never sure how to handle the car with that much patnia, decent original paint is one thing ,,,, its neat but really its a car that needs a paint job and that can be exspensive so the buy it price has to be low enough to justify it
