Could be, lets just say I've been watching your 66 Grande Parisienne 4 speed posts with interest.  And what if an LS6 could have been had????

Well some people know I'd been eyeing this one for a while, and I was finally able to cut a deal.    It's a fairly plain 70 Parisienne 2 dr hardtop, Baja Gold body with Baja Gold roof and paint divider, black cloth interior with a really good dash, and a few little extras underhood light, footwell lights & map light.   It's a decent car, and I hope to do a few things to it as if I'd special ordered it new, something like a COPO car.   The wheels are courtesy of another Cdn Poncho member.

That's a good looking car Clint, nice colour combo, like the Rally II wheels on it as well.

It was sitting outside, with steel wheels & full disc hubcaps and rotten bias ply tires.   CP member 76GLM was selling the Ralley II's, so I figured they'd look good on the car.  They're off his mid-70's Grand-Am, and all I did was clean them up, and change the beauty rings to the type used in 70.   On the list of things to do is get a set of PMD center caps and proper lug nuts.

You should have seen the car when I got it.   I don't think the previous owners possessed a vacuum, but fortunately it has seat covers on it to protect the seats.  It also had some goofy sport mirrors, a-ooo-ga horn, 2 trailer harnesses and some goofy mudflaps.  That's all been removed.   Having 4 cars the same sure makes it easy for spare parts as I had a spare harness to replace where they'd spliced in for the trailer.    It still has a trailer hitch which will be removed one of these days.

Man, I like your thinking!

I hope to have updates on that conversion soon. I had planned this weekend but that may not work out now. I've had a few curve balls tossed my way lately. If not this weekend, hopefully next couple of weeks.

The bias ply's are gone - they were all cracked, white-wall radials on it now.  I might need to spin those tires around to be black-walls.

Your choice Clint, I like the white wall and Rally II combo, very much in keeping with the era and the higher line Parisienne.

You're right Ray, back in the day the owner would have been proud of the white-walls.

Funny thing about those hybrid Canadian Pontiacs, yours has seats straight out of a 1970 Impala, plus a steering wheel from a 1970 Oldsmobile (all correct & stock). I must say that it has cleaned up nicely and appears to be solid. The cloth on the seats looks great. Is it a drum brake or disk brake car?

Nope, always a painted roof car.    Also power drum brakes.

Nice car "Cleaned up REAL GOOD" I noticed the trailer brake unit!!! Speaking of Olds Strg. wheels being used on the Pontiac, could you get the "RIM" blow horn as well??? My dad's 70 Olds had that option & was "kinda" neat!!!!!

The whitewalls do brighten it up    leave it like that  until you "hop it up"
