rare stainless roof, 350 performer series carb, runs and drives good but needs crank or rod bearing done. knocks when warms up over 3000 rpm. has one new tire on front, still has sticker on it, 1 year old for the other 3. new glass. very solid body.

I have seen one. Back in 1980 a friend on Hamilton Mountain wrecked his mom's very nice 1977 Monte Carlo. With the insurance money his mom went out and bought a brand new 1980 Cutlass coupe. It was a pale gold metallic with the stainless roof trim, plus black on the forward part of the roof. I think it had a 260 Olds under the hood. I don't remember seeing any others around like it.

I believe the Delta 88 had this option. I'm sure I remember seeing one from that era with a stainless roof.

I believe the Olds 88 of the same vintage offered a similar option The 78-80 Monte also had a stainless B piller  band that went over the roof. My accountant owned one. And did'nt the Dodge Monaco of the same vintage  offer a stainless band oner the roof ?

Used to have one in university as my winter beater, rattle can black, stainless roof, 260V8, rusty cragars, my little brother called it the bashmobile LOL. Never saw too many others like it.

 I recall seeing an Full size Olds of this vintage with the stainless roof.  As well the Toronado/Eldorado's got them as well..... Not very Popular though.
