I know every nut, bolt and screw on these cars. Plus, when I got the green & gold car the valve covers were on the wrong sides. I didn't realize it until I went to add oil and the breather snout was in the way.
I also notice it's throttle cable car, there was a mid-year change from linkage to cable. Also see it's a turbo 350 car. Looks like they got a little carried away and painted the crank pulley orange.
The LF6 400 used the TH350 automatic. See the attached chart that shows the same series transmission used with the 350s and the 400 on the 1970 full-size. 2.52:1 low = TH350; 2.48:1 low = TH400
I knew the 400 was available but I have never actually seen even one 1970 Canadian Pontiac with the V400 badge. I remember these cars when new.
I wonder where this subject car has been hiding, it looks pretty solid.
Clint, Carl posts above 400 sbc with 350 THM, if I'm not mistaken it should be a THM 400, am I right.

Both TH350 & TH400 were available. The green/gold car was a TH400, also late built with throttle cable and kickdown switch under the dash. I wonder if this has a 10 bolt or 12 bolt as both were available.
