RE: TIMBUKS FIRST INVADER

Well, I'll be. I always thought Canso had that too.

There's some first gen Novas (non-SS) that have that moulding, I"m quite sure. I assumed Acadian did it the same way.

So that upper trunk piece in the one pic has to be a Nova piece because it has no flat spot for an SD badge.

There is no trim on my gold 65 Canso over the trunk. Canso has the same rear "ACADIAN" panel but missing the trim that goes around the back end. The word Sport Deluxe is attached to the trim.

Yup, our white cars are identical. I was thinking your Canso had it too, but alas, if it did, it's been added from a Nova.

I believe it was the top of the line Nova (short of being an SS) in 63 or 64 that used that trim.

i remember later after i sold car buyer was mad cause id drilled the holes, drilled the dash too cause i got the dash pad from the wrecked car. rear trim never had the sd badge on it most of this trim actually came from the purple car we see here which was once mine as a basket case.In any model the 65s are sure rare and unique with taillights in the trunk lid and the small window in the POST model! if they had invader(around 825) and 2dr SD(around 280?) how many canso in 2drhtp? I even had rocker mouldins on there not pictured from 65 SD
