'68 Beaumont 2-door hard-top:
Body is still on the on frame, full driveline is intact.
Could easily be converted to Chevelle look with Chevelle front clip and interior.frustrated.giffrustrated.giffrustrated.gif
350 with some nice chrome parts and new dynomax ceramic coated headers.
2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Mufflers.
Street Avenger 670 carb, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.
TH350 transmisson and a 10-bolt non-posi rear end.
15" Pontiac Rally wheels in excellent restored condition with very good BFG Radial T/A's. (wheel and tires in pics do not come with car)
Comes with hood and trunk lid as well.
No front clip, no rear bumper, most trim has been removed and is gone and there is no interior or wiring.
Does have windshield and rear window.
Car ran great before restoration was started. Needs rear quarter panel repair, trunk repair, etc.
Frame is good, but does need driver's side rear spring perch replaced.
Great starting point for a restoration of a very rare car. I lost ambition on this project and need the garage space back.
$3000 OBO.

Wow pretty good deal , would like to see more pics but there is probably 3K in parts there. If one had the parts could be a smooth finish to get her going again.

This is my car... It looks great in the pics and thanks to DRI for saying it looked great when it was together (it did!!). Unfortunately the pics are deceiving. Very rough. Body needs a ton of work... Very "bondo intensive" with a history of horrific body repairs. "Convert to Chevelle" is disturbing - I know - sorry for that, just trying to appeal to larger audience... Surely could have sold for more had I left it together but I needed the parts.

The deeper I got into it the worse it got. I dropped the price to $2k which I thought was a great deal basically for the good driveline/wheels & tires/misc parts attached to a largely unsaveable shell (very sad, yes). I later pulled the ad entirely as I was sick of getting silly emails.

I am not leaving the Beaumont family though - I have just found a much better starting point and this became the parts car (interior, trim, etc, etc will all be re-used).

I still have the shell on the frame. Drive-line et al is gone now, I still have the exhaust system which is quite nice, trunk lid, good passenger door and flat hood with stupid hood pin holes drilled in. If anyone is interested in any portion of the shell or other parts that I have left let me know - quick! Going to scrap metal heaven by Wednesday...

Thanks for the welcoming messages guys. Project car is a '68 SD. It'll be Tripoli Turquoise, black interior, with a '70 vintage LS6 based 454. Project was supposed to happen last fall, was hoping to have the chassis done by now - but other priorities got in the way (as they tend to do)... I'll put another post up in a more relevant section that outlines my build plan in more detail.
Frame will be on jack-stands getting scuffed for paint by the end of next week :) I'll post some pics once I have a few worth posting - right now it's just an embarrassing mess/pile of parts!!

There is nothing embarrassing about a pile of Canadian Poncho parts. Most of us have that same thing in the garage.

Remember, the Chevelle comment is only forgiven once we see pictures of your project!

OK, I'll post this one to get me past the "turn it into a Chevelle" comment...

This is what my garage basically looks like now - except the car on the left is much more stripped and the interior of the "project" on the right is a lot more full of parts!!

You are 100% forgiven!

You see, that didn't hurt a bit!

Now, all you Canadian Poncho guys who DON'T have a garage that looks like that, raise your hands....

Finally sold this green parts car (well, I took $100 deposit anyways, car should be picked up this Friday). Sold remaining parts (engine/driveline, frame, body-shell) for $1000. The new buyer is restoring a '69 Chevelle and wants bits and pieces of this car, mainly the trans tunnel and some of the firewall as his '69 had a diesel in it?!? ... He says he may try to save this one though - I hope he does!
