I took the car out for a test drive and it's nice and quiet the only issue is that there is a slow leak at the front end of the countershaft where it has the step machined into it. The shaft hasn't spun at all and it's not leaking at the rear so I cleaned it off and applied ultra rtv black silicon over the end of the shaft. Anyone else ha this issue with the 49-54 Chevy three speeds? Thanks
