Hello Gentlemen,I've had quite the absence and for that i apologize however i have some updates for you as i've slowly been tinkering with the custom sport,I'll attatch as many pics as i can,Now i didn't go the original route simply because it occured to me that absolutely NOBODY here knows what the hell a parisienne is anyway so i'm not gonna spend thousands on reconditioning a #'s matching car that i sound like a jackass trying to explain the significance of,so the car will be reborn in an extremely badass form, while that form isn't in the extremely near future,it is almost on the road.
here's what i've got for it,The motor is a 71 trans am 400 that came out of a bird that was running high 10s a few years back..the motor was pulled when the car was wrecked and sat for awhile, fired it up with fresh fluids and such and it's quite healthy,i also got the rebuilt TH350 with brand new valve body and shift kit to go with the motor,to quench the beast it has a nice new aluminum radiator.the parisienne also has HEI now as you can see.it's also eqquipped with a 155GPH Holley fuel pump and a regulator to match, the carb is just a 750 eddy right now but it will be running dual 600 demons as soon as the manifold is acquired,I had some brackets fabbed up so i could use poly trans am motor mounts on my parisienne chassis..which is also a new one out from under a 65' 396 impala ss,unfortunately i didn'y get the 12 bolt with that so the stock parisienne 10 bolt went back under for now.The parisienne is now equipped with front power disc brakes,i bought bulk tubing and bent and flared all the lines myself, all dry,no leaks, work great,Also i installed a B&M ratchet shifter that also came from the bird..missing its handle and booy but that'll all be taken care of,just trying to get the thing moving under it's own power, the orginal console was missing the lid and has some cracking going on so i put in a 66 2+2 console in it's place and do i ever love the look.
so now it just needs a PS pump,I need to secure the top of the radiator because we all know how professional a bungee cord looks...and a blinker switch because mine is in 30000000 pieces...the lever just kinda flops around..lol
the original 327/PG are being rebuilt and going into my brothers pickup where they will be safe and sound and returnable if i should decide to return it to stock form(highly doubt it)this car is bound for speed and will stay my hotrod for the rest of my life,I love this car so much it's unreal,I love the confusion when i tell people it's not a catalina or a bonneville.
also, what's your guys' input on trying to beef up this 10 bolt?
is it an 8.2?what did the parisiennes use?

Wow thats alot of work!!! how did you manage to move the cherry picker with the engine & trans. on it in GRAVEL???? Yep that will confuse your Poncho guys down there, now you've got a Cdn. Pontiac with a US engine, that should get some head scratching!!!!
