Hey guys,This tach came in my car when i got it,was mounted in the console.Being as though it has this little threaded stud thing that wasn't actually used to mount it it made me wonder if it was factory or not,inside the tach on the back after you remove the rear cover it's dated NOV. 1965,which made me then think it was stock...so if it's not then it's an OLD aftermarket.

I plan on using a Poncho hood tach so this one probably won't make it back into the car,but i'm just curious.

I think the GM originals had "Pontiac" on the face!! US ones did,not sure on Cdn. ones, the face on that one is close to org. though.

Just for info.I took a working kneeknocker style tach out of my 66 GP a while back and have no use for it....
