NO IDEA WHAT THE RESERVE MAY BE. MY OWN OPINION IS THAT THE CURRENT BID IS CLOSE TO ALL IN FOR THIS ONE. IT IS JUST A PLAIN STRIPPER.

Apparently he's been asking $30k for over 10 years now... I would think under $20 is all the money too...nice, but not SS nice!

At $30g's he's been watching too many B-J auction shows & if it's been 10yrs. then he's smokin up with the 'Good Stuff" 20Grand is pushing it!!!! But the car / truck is just screaming for a V8 & Tremec trans.!!!!!

Love the condition and the simplicity of this car. But no matter how good it is I can't imagine it commanding the asking price - unless of course he takes it to BJ.

Some people aren't fans of El Caminos but I am,not this year though,I LOVE sixty fives,I would pay 40  K for one as nice as that,I just don't know how desireable that car would be and how much a guy would dough out for it.

I'm shocked it didn't sell at $31k... it is a nice original, but it's still a plain janer... $40k will get it done, I can't remember his reserve off hand, but it was disclosed and is in that range. As others on TC had said, and the current owner says the same, you can't really drive this car, it's desirability is based on it's low mileage. Personally I like cars with more power, options etc.... you can get a nice SS for much less than that!!
