i was bidding against you....im sure its the same one....i wanted it so bad, and wouldnt ya know it...i put a last bid on it and my internet service stopped working and by the time i got back it was over......it sure is pretty...
i have three 66 tachs that i will trade for 65, and just to make you feel better none of the original units that work are all that accurate compared to a aftermarket tach

That explains the price then. I felt it was worth more than what I paid. This was not my high bid that got it. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I saw that I won it.
It's not impossible that I will resell it, depending on a few things. I'll try to remember to contact you before I list it.

dont get me wrong i do like the looks of the 66 but i think most of my cars are early 65s thus the green tach, its hard to tell because our registry isnt around to check. i still dont like to trust, these things, you hit a bump the tach wonders, temperature affects them, i drive the cars year round except the rag, i dont like to over rev these things. im coverting one non working tach with new internals see how that goes.
the 65 GTOs have the same thing, early 65s are all green and late have redlines, i believe the info is out there now that they know what date or close to it they went to a redline..
ill say this, ive seen 20 times the numer of all green to redline..not sure why
