OK its a Catalina Imagine a rust free California wagon Love it probably 3-4 grand for car plus 2000 for shipping imagine no body work
I am listing this car for my Dad.
Up for sale is a 1970 Pontiac station wagon. It was purchased on 11-24-1969 as my Dad's company car and he purchased it two years later from the company and has owned it ever since.
It is a Catalina with a 400 engine. It has a tick under 120,000 miles and has been registered till just last year when it was put on a non-op. It has mostly sat for the last 10 years, only occasionally being started but not driven. At present it runs and will move, however the brake master is sticking and will need to be replaced before it can be driven on the street.
Car still retains the original gold paint and the interior it completely original, though it has a big rip in the drivers seat. The rest of the interior is in very decent condition. The engine runs fine and has never been out of the car though I believe dad replaced the plastic toothed timing sprockets at one time. Otherwise everything under the hood is just as it left the factory.
The car has never been in an accident and you'll notice the bumpers show no dents. There is not a single spot of rust anywhere as it has been a California car all its life. The paint on the hood is finally thinned completely out and is the worst area paint wise. From front to back, this car is extremely original and for someone looking for an unmolested example, you couldn't do better than this.
At some point Dad removed the radio and bottom of the dash. All parts are still there and included.
Car has AC though I don't know if it works.
Car is located in Saratoga, California. The title is clear and the car is sold as-is, where is with no warranty. Car must be paid for and picked up within 7 days unless other mutual arrangements are made.
If you have any questions or wish to inspect the car, feel free to contact me. My Dad's wish is that someone takes over stewardship of this car and enjoys it for many years to come.
