Would think it's the same as any other P/seal, drop the D/shaft, hold the pinion yoke with a "good sized" pipe wrench, & remove the nut, use puller on yoke & replace the seal!! I don't think the "POT" type rear end has a collapseable sleeve??? Not sure on that one??

I recently replaced the pinion seal on my 62 Parisienne with a National Seal. I did not have an install tool and attempted to install it the way I have done for years working my way around the seal tapping it in slightly until it starts. I wrecked 2 seals as they would not start cleanly. The starting edge of the seal is square and sharp and I wound up grinding a slight bevel to the circumference of the leading edge of the seal where it makes contact with the rear end and it still didn't go. I then cut a small piece of cloth, loaded it with grease and jammed it against the pinion bearing in the housing. I also made sleeve for the pinion shaft and with a find pencil grinder, made a slight bevel to the inside casting of the HOUSING. I cleaned out the area and removed the cloth. I again put a slight bevel on the seal leading edge, applied some sealant to the seal and then tapped the seal in with no problem. I don't know if my housing was different than most but once I modified it the seal went in properly. I think I paid about $18 per seal so I hope you don't have the same problem I did.
