I cant believe I havent seen this thread before!! ,...lately been crazy for wagons, just so different to me and great for the grandkids! Was lucky enough to buy John Nelsons ( Winnipeg ) 1968 Beaumont Wagon , dressed up like a 1969 SD 396 O/D Auto Wagon, he did several years ago and absolutely love it.He Loaded it up with every option GM made in 1968, ..
Ive also recently added another , a 1964 Biscayne 409 4 speed car...
Id send pictures if somebody can post them.
Thx
I'm a big fan of wagons, especially GM A and B bodies from 55 and 75. Example, 55-57 Chevy/Pontiac; any 65-70 Chev or Pontiac full size; 64-72 Chevelle; any year Olds Vista Cruiser or Buick sport wagon. But I also like a number of Ford/Mercury from 57-72, some of the Mopars from 55-75, and the AMC Ambassador from 70-73.
For practical reasons I think the 69 Kingswood is probably the only one I'll ever have, and I feel lucky to have it.
The 1972 and 1973 SS wagons showed on the last page;
Are those legit?
I have never heard of an SS wagon, but have met people who turned their wagons into SS's.
If legit, please pass along any links or information, as I'd like to read up on them.

You're gonna hate your automatic vehicles now for the rest of your life!
Next up, third pedal in the 64 hardtop....

I just transferred all these 35 mm photo images of wagons from car shows i went to in the past, very distant past and put them on j peg form for my computer. Check out the wagon rides here. Cheers.
I just found a pair of pics of a 1955 Chevrolet 210 Handyman that until recently belonged to a family friend, Tim Miller, since 1975. Tim quickly sold his 1947 Chevy sedan deliver that he was restoring to buy the '55 from a little old lady in Washington State. The '55 had original paint with a little wear and some thin spots, but no rust anywhere. Interior was original but had a few rips. Tim replaced the 235 & sold it to a guy restoring a 1955 Nomad 6-cylinder wagon (he was elated to get the engine). Tim dropped an early 327 into the wagon & put on some vintage Edelbrock dress-up items on the engine. He also ran triple 2-barrels under little chrome "army hat" air cleaners. He retained the 3-speed column shift & all other stock appearance items. When the time came to repaint he inverted the colours so Glacier Blue over white replace White over Glacier Blue. I was very surprised when I learned he sold it in 2015 after 40 years.
Back in the 1960s when I was a tyke, our neighbor used to have a regular visitor who drove a maroon 1958 Ford 2-door Ranch Wagon. It was rusty above the headlight buckets when I remember it from 1968.

Whoever bought this wagon from your friend did very well. It's beautiful.
