I've seen another one like this, but it was a long straight street.   Very cool.

Amazing. Thanks for posting. 99% of what you see in that tape is now gone. I wish Vancouver expanded on the transit system they had back then. Just imagine what it would be now without the car and Detroit Diesel taking over......OK that was bait on a car forum..fire away!

Terrific film.   No wonder so many people got run over back then.

Does raise a question though:

When did you guys start driving on the "wrong" side of the road?

from wikipedia

Canada drives on the right in LHD (left-hand-drive) vehicles, the largest land-area nation in the former British Commwealth to do so. Until the 1920s, the rule of the road in Canada varied by province: British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island had left-hand traffic, and the other provinces and territories had right-hand traffic. Starting on the west coast on 15 July 1920 and ending on the east coast on 1 May 1924, right-hand traffic was adopted uniformly throughout Canada.[61] Newfoundland was not part of Canada until 1949, and had left-hand traffic until 2 January 1947.[62]

Who ever thought that 1907 would be 106 years ago?  I remember thinking 2000 was about a hundred years away (and never heard the term "Y2K" until about 1995).  Man, I'm getting old.

That is a very cool video.

We ended up getting it right, eventually.
