This is a beautiful car that has been for sale for a long time.  I guess it's overpriced?  What would be a reasonable market value for this car?

Million dollar question. Low teens to maybe $15K in today's market?

Sad, when you think about what a restoration costs. This is better than restoring one if it's authentic, mileage and all...

But that 5K 427 car still is worth saving strictly because of it's rarity.

I love this car. And it's a Strato Bench! Wonder if it's power? Probably not, it's got roll up's.

Is the market ever coming back?

Sorry  it will never come back

The car guy owners are dying (baby boomers) and there no new (volumn of) car guys coming

You see more and more Estate sales as sons sell days toys   (I know there are exceptions)

but the hey day is over.....

Think about it    your plans for hobby cars change after you turn 50+   (2 cents)

I "Gotta" agree too!!!! I don't really think this car is "over priced' just no buyers!!!! Worse in Ontario & seeing quite a lot of vehicles on Kijiji & Old Autos coming on sale, & some I think are trying to "dump' their non "compliant" emm. cars before the hammer comes down!!!! Insurance going way up "ain't' helping things either!!!! Thats just my opinion for what it's worth!!!!

That car would be a heck of a deal at 12,000.00     and I would bet he'd still be wondering where the phone calls are    its really too bad     I love it at 12

True enough, but to defend my post (that I don't remember writing... ha ha), "overpriced" just means priced more than people are willing to pay.  Well worth the money, especially if you were intending to restore a rough one, but unfortunately there aren't enough people out there willing to part with this kind of money for this kind of car.

And, that being said, I think the Florida 427 is still worth restoring due to its rarity and historical significance... but again you have to find somebody willing to part with their money to do it.

By the way, I recently talked to a buddy who knows the owner and apparently the car is as good as it looks in the pics.

I'd be looking at it myself if I had that kind of cash kicking around.

Yes it would be easy to swap out the underneath unit for a vintage air unit     Maybe I will buy it when he drop it to 12g in 5 years  lol

I have 10 set of emblems   I stick those suckers on all my cars

Fifteen Five...it's gotta go at that! Different ownership scenarios are now crossing my mind at that price. I'm probably not the only one.

I wonder if the owner has see this post, I'd think yes.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING CAR AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THE $3000 SHIPPING BILL TO ALBERTA KIND OF KILLS IT FOR ME THOUGH.
