Consider the evidence:

Doesn't know what year the car is - This info would be on the registration.

Doesn't know how to spell the model of the car - Easily found by looking at the badges on the car.

Currently has 2 ads listed on kijiji with different addresses, neither of which are residential.

Conclusion - The seller is one of the following:

- Scam artist

- Used car dealer

- Thug who wants to lure prospective buyers with a pocket full of money to an obscure location

- Legit seller who buys and sells/trades a lot but doesn't really bother to know what he has... possibly without proper paperwork

I immediately report these ads to the listing supplier and let them decide, but the ad is always pulled, within minutes sometimes. I HATE scams and scammers and will do all I can to ruin their day just like the ruin so many others!!

I'm thinking this KIJIJI add has "SCOOPED" the picture of the car for sale in Michigan!!! Add in Michigan has car listed at $13.500 [I think] or somewhere around there!!! Kijiji add is def. a "RIP" off SCAM!!!

Maybe somebody should give his phone number to telemarketers and have them call night and day... biggrin

There's another option I hadn't thought of and that's the one where somebody puts an ad for a ridiculously priced car with the phone number of somebody they don't like so they will be bombarded with calls about the car... disbelief
