Mine looks pretty good, not much pitting, and a heluva lot better than the one I had. The one in the picture looks just like the picture of the one that I bought off of him. It makes me wonder if he is making them. I asked him some questions before I bought the item because I live close to him and did not want to pay the $30 shipping. He said I could not pick up the item and would have to pay the full shipping and that he does not meet people. His new ad states this at the bottom.

He must be turning (casting) these puppies out at $5.00 a pop!

The guy that posted on here last time there was an auction happening for this emblem, hasn't posted since, and he kept swearing in the thread that he wasn't the seller of the emblem on eBay. Co-inkadink! Jerel called it!

He's probably got a bunch of kids melting down old batteries in his basement and pouring lead into moulds, then electroplating in a bathtub to make these. Wouldn't want any OH&S or Worker's Comp or Environment Canada guys to walk in on that....

Just kidding. I'm not sure I want to invite a bunch of people from the internet to my house either. Especially if I have a family or maybe I have a bunch of parts lying around or ... I might meet then at the local Tim Hortons, but even that is not without risk.

If the guy is making them, good for him. I wish more people would make pieces for our old cars. How about some tail light lenses and some clear signal light lenses, back up light lenses and pots etc etc.
